Our R&I centers
At Danone, our Research and Innovation (R&I) centers are at the core of our mission to bring health through food to as many people as possible. Our two global centers in Paris-Saclay, France, and Utrecht, the Netherlands, unite scientific expertise with advanced technologies to drive our ambition of developing products and solutions that meet the nutritional needs of both consumers and patients. These centers are the driving force behind breakthrough innovations in essential dairy, plant-based products, waters and specialized nutrition.
A global network shaping the future of food
Our innovation network, however, reaches far beyond these flagship sites. With six specialized hubs across the globe, we are continuously pushing the boundaries of possibility. These hubs focus on key areas such as packaging innovation in France, precision nutrition in Singapore, specialized nutrition in China, and plant-based technologies in Belgium and the USA. In addition, 55 local Danone R&I subsidiaries, led by passionate scientists—from biotech pioneers to experts in fermentation, hydration, and nutrition—are helping shape the future of food. Together, we are creating a healthier, more sustainable future for the people and the planet.
