Our User eXperience design managers at Danone Nutricia Research use innovative methods to investigate the sensory experience of our products so we can better understand and predict future consumer and patient expectations.
Our facilities are state-of-the-art and place our consumers and patients at the heart of everything we do.
Our sensory facilities are dedicated to investigating and understanding which aspect of our product delivers the best user experience: the sensations (flavours, smells, textures, and appearance), product usage, packaging, functionality and emotions.
In our Research Center in Utrecht we have 18 customized sensory booths where our expert panellists, who have an outstanding ability to detect taste and smell, are able to objectively evaluate sensory properties of our products such as texture, taste, aroma and packaging formats. We also collaborate with external experts to unravel how the long-term preference for certain foods is influenced by psychological, neurobiological and sensory factors.
