This publication is the first systematic review and meta-analysis on the effects of a probiotic dairy drink containing the L. casei CNCM I-1518 and yoghurt cultures on Common Infectious Diseases (CIDs). The results suggest that consumption of this probiotic dairy drink may reduce the incidence of CID in the general population.
