Having been the world’s leading proponent of scientific excellence in probiotics and prebiotics since 2002, the International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP) is extending its outreach to Asia.
Nutricia Research will be present at the ISAPP’s first conference in Asia themed “Key Scientific Drivers Behind Probiotic and Prebiotic Applications”, which takes place in Singapore, June 5-6, 2018.
On the first day of the conference, Rocio Martin, Director of Nutricia Research Singapore will present “Intestinal Microbiology in Early Life”. She will talk about the first colonizers in infant’s gut and its roles in the development of the microbial ecosystem which may steer the long-term composition and activity of the microbiota. She will also discuss some of the microbiome drivers in early life and its potential consequences for health later in life.
Besides being one of the speakers in the conference, Nutricia Research will also have scientific posters presented at the session themed “Probiotics and Prebiotics: Excellence in Science and Clinical Translation”:

About ISAPP 2018
The symposium addresses the latest research on probiotics and prebiotics, featuring internationally renowned speakers. The talks will cover the important developmental stages of life and how products interface with the human microbiome and metabolome. From practical recommendations cognizant of regulatory issues, to describing products and concepts on the near horizon, the conference will stimulate interest from scientists, clinicians, healthcare providers, government regulators, as well as help consumers understand more about these areas, highly relevant to personal health and wellness.
